Housekeeping Rules

Attending demodayLA is an exciting opportunity to connect with the vibrant local tech community, exchange ideas with like-minded peers, and witness some of the most groundbreaking innovations in the industry.

It’s a chance to learn from industry leaders, discover emerging trends, and build relationships that could lead to future collaborations. To ensure a smooth and enjoyable experience for everyone, it’s essential to adhere to the event’s housekeeping rules.

These guidelines are thoughtfully designed to maintain an environment of respect, safety, and productivity for all participants, creating a welcoming space where creativity and innovation can thrive.

By following these rules, we can work together to make demodayLA a truly memorable and impactful event for everyone involved.

BLANKSPACES is a shared coworking space

Please respect the members who are working there by being mindful of their space and time. Avoid walking into their working areas, as this can be disruptive, and refrain from interrupting their workflow with unnecessary conversations or distractions.

By maintaining a respectful and considerate environment, everyone can stay focused, productive, and achieve their best work without unnecessary interruptions.

Clean space, happy place!

Please follow the facility’s guidelines for health measures and cleanliness to ensure a safe and pleasant environment for everyone. Be sure to dispose of all trash in the designated bins, and take a moment to wipe down any surfaces or equipment you’ve used.

Leaving your space tidy and clean not only shows respect for the next person but also helps maintain the facility in excellent condition for all to enjoy. Thank you for your cooperation!

Love thy BLANKSPACES campus staff (they’re the real MVPs)

The campus staff are here to ensure the smooth running of demodayLA and to assist with event-related tasks, not to cater to individual requests.

Their priority is to support the event as a whole, so please refrain from giving them personal instructions or interrupting their responsibilities.

Treat them with respect and allow them to focus on their duties to help make the event a success.

Shhh… The demo is doing the talking

Show respect to the presenters and other attendees by keeping noise to a minimum during the event.

Avoid talking, whispering, or using loud devices such as phones or laptops during presentations, as this can disrupt the flow of the session and distract those around you.

Maintaining a quiet and attentive atmosphere ensures that everyone can fully engage with the content being presented.

Don’t be a jerk—spread kindness!

Demonstrating kindness and consideration to fellow attendees fosters a positive and inclusive atmosphere, ensuring everyone feels welcome and valued.

Simple actions like offering a seat, holding a door open, or engaging in friendly conversation can make a big difference.

A little thoughtfulness goes a long way in creating a supportive and enjoyable environment where all participants can fully engage and make the most of the event.

Facility Parking

BLANKSPACES parking is limited and on a first-come, first-served basis. We recommend arriving early to secure a spot.

There are 50 parking spaces available on-site, but if they are full, there are several nearby public parking options within walking distance.

There are designated spot for BLANKSPACES parking, so please be mindful of taking up spots reserved for other businesses.

We appreciate your cooperation in helping us make demodayLA a success! See you there.
